Summertime in the South is a force to be reckoned with- it’s humid, incredibly hot, and often times doesn’t offer a cool summer breeze that I long for on a daily basis. In which, often times leaves me wanting to hide away in my apartment with the AC blasting and pretend I live somewhere where humidity doesn’t exist (i.e. Hello, California.) However, that isn’t what my schedule allows, so I have searched high and low for outfits that are fun, comfortable, and yet polished all at once- with the weather my main thought behind any outfit. So, I am now for the first time ever (woo!), going to be disclosing a lot more of the versatile pieces I seem to find myself living in these days. The above was what I chose to wear for my job interview yesterday (still waiting to hear back), along with some of my absolute favorite products. I’m legit obsessed with Josie Maran’s cheek gelees- they double (as least, for me) as pretty lipcolors, too. And Leith’s track pants have the perfect edginess to vibe with ‘polished’, but secretly are the most comfortable pants I own. I’m in love with them. Anyhow, hope you enjoy! Hope your Wednesday was darling! xoxo.

It’s a beautiful Sunday afternoon- it’s sunny, and warm and the mountain view from my parent’s house is absolutely stunning. It’s also kind of nice to know that my favorite season is awaiting its’ arrival and the flowy deep-green tones of all the trees will soon be an array of red, orange, and yellow (so excited.) However, aside from the excitement, it’s that time of year I get really (really) lazy in what I’m wearing. I’m kind of done with summer (sadly enough) and I’m ready for Fall attire. However, one of my favorite blogs for inspiration posted this photo, and I’m…obsessed. It’s like having your cake and eating it too, only in an outfit. It’s Summer and(ddd) Fall. Love, love, love.
Anyhow, hope your Sunday is lovely and you’re relaxing.
I’ll just be dreaming of finding this outfit, with loads of laundry to fold, and modern-day treats that illustrate themselves into re-runs of addicting Bravo reality shows. That I probably hate, if I could only change the channel…
